Advent Pageants

Since 1999 Fusion has been supporting schools around the country to run Advent Pageants

In 2006 there were 26 Advent Pageants around the country with 100 schools and 8,460 children involved.

Local Pageants involve between 100 to 1500 students.  The purpose of the program, is to create a Community Celebration in which the students learn the true historical meaning of Christmas.  Students participate by wearing period costumes, learning Christmas Carols (music and notes provided), and making props.

This program enables the school to connect with other schools in the area, providing a celebration for the whole community.  It is a safe and interesting way for children to learn about Christmas and allows students to participate by walking in the Pageant, being involved in a drama and singing either communally or as a choir.
