Community Centres

Community Centres provide a range of social, educational and recreational programs for people of all ages. You can learn a skill, make a friend or get fit! From dance programs for preschoolers to craft programs gentle exercise for those of retirement age there is a program for everyone at a Community Centre.  But whatever the class you are doing – what matters most is that you have fun and build some friendships!

Some of the times of programs run at Community Centres include parenting courses, children’s karate, community lunch, craft groups, quilting classes, jazz and tap for both children and adults, playgroups, strength training, youth dropin  and after school programs for primary school aged children. Community Centres also provide a place for people to come in catch up and have a coffee.

Community Centres also provide space for groups to hire and use to run classes or programs.  If you have a skill you’d like to teach – talk to us about possibilities.  Community Centres rely heavily on volunteers so speak to the Coordinator for more information.

Different Community Centres offer a different range of programs so please check you local centre – Bendigo or click here to download the Oakleigh Youth and Community Centre Current Brochure.

Fusion Oakleigh Youth and Community Centre is partially funded by Department of Victorian Communities under the NHCP program.
