Certificate III in Youth & Community Work (Christian)

The Certificate III in Youth and Community Work (Christian) is designed for those who want to make a difference as a Christian in their local communities. It will expose you to the values, understandings and the 40 years of experience of Fusion’s cutting-edge youth and community work.

The course aims to equip you to operate effectively in a real world mission setting. The training is “on the job” involving 3 days per week in the field together with two days per week in a classroom setting.

The course is delivered over two semesters with new intakes in January and July each year. The first week of the course involves an intensive week of training in Tasmania covering foundational material for the course.

The Certificate III in Youth and Community Work (Christian) is nationally recognised training that can lead on to other accredited training including the Certificate IV and Diploma in Youth & Community Work (Christian).

As accredited training, participants in the Certificate III in Youth and Community Work (Christian) are able to apply to receive Youth Allowance or Austudy (subject to their individual circumstances).

Fusion operates in six locations in Victoria, in West and South-East Melbourne, Ballarat, Bendigo, Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula.
